Pu-erhtea can be purchased as eitherraw/green(sheng) orripened/cooked(shu), depending on processing method or aging. Sheng pu-erh can be roughly classified on the tea oxidation scale as a green tea, and the shou or aged-green variants as post-fermented tea.

Unlike other teas that should ideally be consumed shortly after production,pu-erhcan be drunk immediately or aged for many years;pu-erhteas are often now classified by year and region of production much like wine vintages.

大雪山原料产地
大雪山，位于云南省临沧市双江县勐库镇境内，是邦马山主峰，海拔3233.5米。当地的自然气候十分适合茶树生长，在海拔海拔2200至2750米的山腰上分布着大量古茶树。大雪山茶区所产的茶菁条索肥厚、芽峰显豪，香气清爽，苦涩味轻而回甜度高，是好普洱茶原料的好产地。

每一饼茶里均压有内飞和金色丝带。
